Hi everyone!!

Well it's been a busy month for me so far. I won the Best Newcomer award from Radio Forth, I couldn't believe that!! Ain't No Mountain got put on the A list on Radio 2 so that was really good. Then I've got a show at the Indig02 coming up which is quite exciting - I'm going to perform Mama Said and Ain't No Mountain And I'm on the radio tomorrow, on Woman's Hour, wow!

I finished all my school work today, got all my homework wrapped up, so now it's relaxation time. We've got the family coming to ours on Christmas day – it's the whole family, so a lot of us! My mum's doing the cooking and I'll probably help her out, I'm half decent at making toast! Joking, I'm actually quite good at cakes and stuff so I'll give her a hand, and probably lick out the bowl too.

I'm always up at about 2 in the morning on Christmas day, but I'm not allowed to open my presents until everyone comes round. Then we have lunch at about 2 in the afternoon, this year we're having a turkey, a goose and beef – like I said, big family! We have crackers too but I hate them 'cause I never get anything good out of them. Afterwards we normally get the Monopoly board out and have a game with my cousins. And then there's Eastenders, Corrie, all of that.

This year I'm hoping Santa brings a nice trip to Barbados! That would be lovely. Well you can dream, can't you? I've done all my shopping, finished it yesterday actually. I think I've got things that people will like.

For new year we'll probably have a party at ours, as usual. We have lots of friends and family round, some tunes on the stereo and then watch the countdown on telly.

Last but absolutely not least, I want to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. Hope you get lots of lovely pressies and eat tasty food and have fun with your friends and families. Thanks so, so, so much for all your love and support, I've had an amazing year and I owe a lot of it to having such brilliant fans.
